If you know Birmingham you will have seen a huge transformation in the City. For twenty years investors have been ploughing money in and the City has changed beyond all recognition, or has it? Under the fast paced business and commercial surface and the ever changing architecture, there are the same people (except for the tourists and the revellers coming in from surrounding towns). The lives of people continue regardless of the material changes. The old still survives amongst the new. My photography is simply a way of looking at what is there, sometimes just below the surface, sometimes above the surface. This is a multi layered city. I'm interested in it all.
